Our main teacher is Andy Krogh. Andy has taught ballroom dancing for 11 years now (2008-2019) and has been teaching elementary school (5th grade at a Title 1 school) for 5 years. Andy loves to teach and knows how to reach even the most difficult students… I’m looking at you, engineers. JK. (They’re easy, they respond better to 1, 2, 3, 4 than quick quick slow). I have taught long enough that I should have a PhD in fixing people with “two left feet”. We make our lessons exciting and fun. Andy says, “my favorite thing about teaching dance is the newlyweds! I love doing wedding choreography and love the videos and emails I get from the couples after they crush their first dance!”
We have been teaching at the Dance Space Performing Arts Studio since 2011. We have a brand new studio, fully remodeled, as of last year. Dance Space is amazing if you would like to learn tap, jazz, ballet, cheer, etc.
Below is a picture of Andy in 2009 at the 2nd biggest ballroom competition in the U.S. This was a Beatles themed show. HAHA! He looks so young!
